Moonlight Sonata + In The Good Old Summertime = ?
It’s no secret that I love to mix and mash up different songs, so I thought I would try mixing up In The Good Old Summertime with Moonlight Sonata. I think it worked pretty well!

Welcome to my lounge-style piano rendition of Giuseppe Verdi’s timeless aria, ‘La Donna è Mobile.’ In this video, I’ve infused the classic melody with laid-back vibes, creating a relaxing and elegant atmosphere. During the 1980s and 1990s, I played a lounge piano literally every weekend those were great days of live piano music! Whether you’re sipping a cup of tea or winding down after a long ...

How does a piano work? In this video I go over the basic functions and parts of an upright piano note so you can see exactly what happens when you play a note on the piano. I was a full-time piano tuner-technician for over three decades, operating my own business. Over those three decades, I’ve easily worked on tens of thousands of pianos, and what I’m showing you in this video was part of my d...

Love this piece. It was my first time listening to it. The video is nice, too.
Thanks, Amanda!
Wow, that’s fascinating. On Tuesday I will show this to my piano students!
Thanks! I hope they find it fascinating and interesting!
That joke didn’t feel left. ⬅️
➡️
Explain the joke.
Ooh, it went so beautiful cinematic!
Glad you think so!
@@lorendigiorgi Sure, it's the way you play. The feel for calmer, serious textures seems natural for you.
What's the name of the Bach's music?
That’s what those of us who are scared of spiders have been hearing all along. 😂
❤
This is great! I played rhapsody in blue on the piano when I was younger
It’s a wonderful piece!
I like your version of every song ha love the inventiveness man
Thank you!
I ❤ it
Have you ever considered mashing up songs from all the other genres? I think you would conjure up some very amusing combinations! 😂‼️
I do! The only thing there is you need to be concerned with copyrights. So I would need to get permission. When I do the classical pieces, those are in the public domain.
Moonlight Sonata played normally sounds eerie, but played this way sounds extremely melancholy; like someone trying to hold on to fond memories but sorrow and loss overshadows it. Almost as dreary as a funeral march
Love it! ❤
Can you play something by Ray Manzerek?
Bachopin
Pls do tutorial on this!
I have no words, this is just amazing
Thank you very much! The two work amazingly well together :)
@@lorendigiorgi They wouldn't have if it wasn't for you :)
You always make me laugh too much Loren, thank you!
I'm so glad! Laughter is good. :) Glad you like these!
Amazing
Thank you! Cheers!
Loren, you are one of the most entertaining and enlightening artists on this platform. Full stop. :)
Wow, thank you! I really appreciate it!
Whoa! Is that still Itsy Bitsy Spider at the end ?
The meter is the same, but the melody is modified into the minor key :)
Must have been terrible for him when Talkies came to the Cinema near you.
Brilliant as always
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sounds sad. I love it. I could see it in a Tim Burton claymation movie
That would be sooo cool!
It teeters near creepy sounding but never tips over. 😊❤
We’ll settle for “unsettling?” :D
cool
I laughed way too hard at the name "In the Moon Old Sonata Time" 😂😂😂
Lol! I have to admit I enjoy the title mashups as much as the music :)
In the old good moontime
Doesnt even sound like itsy bitsy spider 😮😮😮
Haunting beautiful! Good old moon summer!
Many thanks!
.......It's suddenly time to vibe out to some relaxing spooky music. 🕷️😌👻
Enjoy!
This got me feeling like I in a hotel having a fever dream with the lights flickering running from a killer and I think I lost them but then I turn down a hallway stop and rest a bit but the light flashes the killer appears at the end of the hallway and it flickers again and he disappears And that was me explaining an entire scene in a horror movie that I might make some day
Oh, good one! Good luck if you ever make it!
fantastic!
Thank you! Cheers!
This is surprisingly beautiful
Glad you like it!
It needs some harmonic minor
Who is Alberty?
Domenico Alberti was an 18th century compose who often used that style of bass in his pieces. :)
This is the SpongeBob meme where he draws a circle and then draws a face.
Music is science.
Much of it is!
I need to learn this immediately, IMMEDIATELY
I will likely be doing a walkthrough/tutorial at some point. :)
Excellent. Mastery of theory included.
Thanks!
You should explain what all those fancy words you used mean. That will help you blow up by being understandable to generalized audiences.
its even worse, since he does a lot more than he tells us
😂
What's the Bach you were playing?
Prelude No. 2 in C minor from the Well Tempered Clavier
Thanks for that cool tip
Any time!
